DormDrop Privacy Policy

DormDrop ("we", "our", "us") provides campus delivery services for users of the DormDrop mobile application.
1) Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, and role.
- Order information: pickup, dropoff, notes, timestamps, and order status.
- Payment references and status (card details are processed by Stripe).
- User content: chat messages and delivery proof photos.
- Device and notification data: push tokens and basic diagnostics.
2) How We Use Information
- Operate accounts and delivery workflows.
- Process and verify payments.
- Dispatch requests to available runners.
- Send operational push notifications.
- Detect abuse and improve reliability.
3) Payment Processing
Payments are processed through Stripe. DormDrop does not store full card numbers or CVC codes.
4) Data Sharing
We share data only when needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, or protect users and platform integrity. We do not sell personal information.
5) Data Retention
Data is retained only as long as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal or operational obligations.
6) Account Deletion
You can delete your account in-app at Profile -> Data & Privacy -> Delete Account. Deletion can be blocked while active orders exist.
7) Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No system is guaranteed to be 100% secure.
8) Children
DormDrop is intended for university users and is not directed to children under 13.
9) Changes
We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date when changes are made.
